faq
what is the shelf life of the products?
Since products are all natural, the shelf life on untainted products is best if used within 3 months.
are the products sensitive to temperature?
These gems are extremely temperamental to warmer climates which is why we only ship in the cooler months (temps over 75* are too risky). Never have products in direct sunlight or in a room hotter than 75* because you risk them melting which changes the consistency but does NOT ruin the product.
Steps to take if product melts: slowly mix product with your finger or a spatula then place it in the refrigerator until it firms up or hardens some – at this point you can use it or if you want to rewhip it for a fluffier consistency you can take it out of the tin and mix with an electric mixer then place product back into the tin.
what reactions are possible?
The essential oils we use are organic as are all our ingredients but that doesn’t mean everyone’s body is going to be ok with them. For example, my body is fine and loves lavender, but my best friend is allergic to lavender so therefore she cannot apply anything with lavender on her skin. It’s always smart to test any new product onto the inside of your wrist or forearm and see if you react to it before applying it to your face or entire body.
can the products’ color change?
The color of products comes from natural ingredients and will vary from batch to batch as well as the consistency. For example, depending on where you get your Shea Butter from can change the product’s consistency because some are softer than others.
will the deodorant take time to adjust to?
When switching to an all-natural clean untainted deodorant some folks go through an armpit detox. This is when your body must get rid of all the chemicals it has become accustomed to. This can cause some irritation at first but usually resolves in a few days or up to 2 weeks. If this doesn’t go away, discontinue use.
will the products stain my clothes?
Some essential oils in products (for example wild orange in the deodorant) can cause discoloration to white clothing. It just depends on the material of the clothing.

Our products are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent disease, but our all natural products promote healthier and more vibrant skin care results. We use pure, untainted, raw, unrefined ingredients, so always be aware of the product ingredients.
